With the same passion that drove the original builders of the H1 Alpha, we at Hummer1 are doing "body-off" complete meticulous restorations on the 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha.

What  a  "body-off"  restoration   means:   we  take the   body   off  the  vehicle  and   disassemble  every component, part  and accessory  to the  last bolt and nut of the chassis,  powertrain and body (exterior and interior). Then everything gets either replaced, rebuilt or restored to new original conditions. It is a long meticulous process to achieve perfection!

• The  6.6L Duramax  is  disassembled,  all  parts  including  injectors  and  the  turbo  are  cleaned,  rebuilt, rectified or replaced with new if necessary to guarantee a perfect performance.

• The Allison M74 Series 1000  and  the New Venture  Model 242 transfer case are also  disassembled rebuilt and restore to new condition.

• Complete new  brake system, including new S/S lines, hoses and clamps. 

• Suspension is inspected to detail, restored or replace with new components if necessary.

• The Electrical system is completely inspected, wire harness restored and tested.  

• Alternator is rebuilt or replaced with new if necessary. 

• Fuse boxes are inspected and restored to new.

• Cooling Systems (all radiators and it hoses: engine, transmission/transfer case, air conditioner and fuel) are replaced  with new.  

• The Zexel Torsen Differentials are inspected and rebuilt to guarantee maximum performance.

• Fuel tanks are inspected, cleaned and restored.

• The frame is inspected restored back to new condition.

• The exhaust system is inspected and restored to new.

• The wheels are restored to new, the run-flats are inspected and new tires are mounted on. The central inflation system (CTIS) is inspected, cleaned and rebuilt if necessary. 

• The body is completely disassembled, sanded, prepared and painted to original color (according to the VIN plate).

• Bumpers, Drivetrain protection cage, rocker guards and brush guard are restored or replaced (if necessary) and then powder coated to new.

• New halogen original headlights.

• All navigation, stop and turning lights are replaced with new.

• All original emblems and stickers are replaced with new.

• The Open Top models get a new soft top and cargo cover (black or tan).

• The luxurious interior on the H1 Alpha is what you would expect from an Off-Road Super-truck; Ergonomic design, functionality and comfort.

• During restoration the consoles and all gauges and switches are removed.

• Wiring and contacts are cleaned and inspected for proper functionality.

•  Consoles, gauges and switches are restored  or replaced to new conditions.

• All seats, wheel, carpeting and flooring get inspected, cleaned, restored or re-upholstered.

• Sound system is the standard premium Monsoon 6-disc in-dash CD changer.

• New original heated windshield is installed and tested.

• All power window mechanism are inspected and restore.

• Air conditioner system components (main & rear) are inspected, rebuilt or restore to new.
